Only yesterday, SCA resident Gail Fisher, who lives in High Mesa Village, was given a Chihuahua named Deedee, who resembles the brindle Chihuahua pictured above.
Unfortunately, Deedee, who is about 3 years old, is not chipped and weighs about 6 pounds, slipped her collar, which was a tad too large, and ran off.
A challenge in calling to Deedee is that she may respond to Chinese commands but not English commands, because her previous owner is of Chinese extraction.
Deedee is a loving dog who appeared to form an immediate bond with the other Chihuahua that Gail owns.
I don’t have to tell you of the risks posed by such a small dog on the loose in coyote country, although Deedee is very agile.
Please be on the lookout for this loveable pet, and call Gail at 361-1693 if you spot Deedee or are able to corral her.
PLEASE phonetically tell us the words for "COME", "DOWN" and "STAY" in CHINESE in case any of us see this dog. A few us that live in HIGH MESA VILLAGE will walk the streets looking for Deedee. We are major animal lovers and want to help...and we are quick in learning languages.
